The North Royalton Bears earned their 20th win of the season topping Elyria, 4-1, in NCHSHL league play on January 21, 2015. The Bears dominated the Elyria controlling play throughout and outshooting the Panthers 47-17. Royalton got on the board first, breaking a scoreless tie just 25 ticks into the middle period, when Christian Fernandez found the back of the net assisted by Jeremy Gripp and Dylan Kovach. The Bears added their second of the game towards the end of the 2nd period when Jeremy Gripp scored assisted by Kovach and Anthony Picciano. Cam Cook gave the Bears a 3-0 lead, early in the 3rd period, on the power play assisted by Timmy Orlosky and Jacob Krosky. The final Bears goal was scored by Tyler Cimperman with Eric Golla picking up the helper. Elyria spoiled what would have been Joey Fratantonio’s team leading 6th shutout netting a goal with just under a minute remaining in the contest.

The win improves the Bears NCHSHL record to 7-4-1 and their overall record to 20-10-2.
