Shanghai Voodoo FC

Posted by Rick Howard at May 4, 2019 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Welcome to the Shanghai Voodoo's SIFL page, the home of Voodoo and its 2nd team; Voodoo Child.

The majority of our players are British/Aussie/US but the squad has guys from all over the world.

Voodoo is one of the oldest clubs in Shanghai and was founded in 2003.

The club is sponsoted by The Camel in the French Concession. This is where we meet socially and watch the EPL.

Voodoo is just as much a social club as a football club; long may that continue!

We are always looking for top-notch players in all positions.

If you would like to join, you can learn more by visiting the Voodoo's Club site on Ning (http://voodoofc.ning.com) Facebook (search Shanghai Voodoo). Alternatively, pop in to The Camel on Saturday afternoon or send an email to club captain Brian Doyle at briandoyle22@hotmail.com

Welcome to the homepage of the Shanghai International Football League, Shanghai's premier football league. This amateur league was formed in 1995. Many players from many different countries have played in this league, and we like to think that it has already became one of the most competitive Expat Amateur leagues in Asia. Testament to that is when teams such as Shooters and Japan regularly win overseas/international tournaments.

Although this website has been constructed in the helping of the organisation of the league, we also hope that you enjoy our site, and that some of the information is of good use to you.
If you are looking for a team to play with, then click on the teams tag, and choose which team you think you will be most suited to. Alternatively, you can leave your contact details on the message board.

Media coverage

The League's results, fixtures and game reports are published weekly by Urbanatomy Media under that's Shanghai online magazine.
