News and Announcements
As many of you may know, in March of 2007, Coach Dave Fontaine was suddenly taken away from us. Dave was a devoted Husband, Father and Friend to many. He lived a good, but all to short of a life. But in that time, he was blessed with a devoted wife Kathy and three terrific sons, David, Nick and Mikey. His love for his family was obvious.
Dave was very active with his boys. He was a coach with the Evergreen Park Athletic Association baseball league and was a founding member and coach for the Evergreen Park Stallions football program; his wife Kathy served on the Stallions Board as the secretary; David, Nick and Mikey participated in the Stallions Football Program.
Dave’s life was all about his family and friends. He was a very generous man that was always willing to help others and often put his own needs behind the needs of others. Dave had trouble saying no.
Dave grew up in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago and was a 1980 graduate of St. Cajetan's grammar school and a 1984 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. Dave was an electrician for IBEW Local 134. He was a proud resident of Evergreen Park and was a beloved member of his community.
