Big Cat`s Blast Shakes Grass Valley
The Mighty Bombers hit the road as they traveled to Grass Valley to play their AAA divsion winner: The Muck Dogs. The Yankee Juggernaut was clicking on all cylinders as they rolled to a 26-13 victory. Ramon (Mad Dog) Esparza III, Hayden (H) Mitchell, Jake (The Snake) Peralta and Jackson (Ajax) Shedd pitched a superb a game; striking out twelve and allowing only six hits. The contest featured a towering, colossal homerun from the paws of Andrei (The Big Cat) Buado 3-3 HR, 3b. Other Yankees knocking the ball around the diamond were: Terrence (T-Bone) berg 3-3,3b; Ramon (Mad Dog) Esparza III 3-4,2-2bs; Parker (The Real Deal) True, 2-2; Kyle (The Great Santini) 2-4; Zach (Scooter) Berry 1-3 and Spencer (The Road Runner) Floyd 1-1. The boys in pin stripes also showed a keen eye at the plate as the Muck Dog pitching staff issued 20 walks. Ryan (The Pocket Rhino) Sancedo and Ajax earned 4 apiece. It was a nice victory for the Bombers as the head into the playoffs.
