The play of the game was with two outs the ball was hit to right field the Yankee runner coming from 2nd was thrown out at the plate on a great play by Marcella Gutierrez and Joni Curtis. Marcella fielded the ball and threw the ball on a string to Joni who turned and faced the hard charging Kelly Watts of the Yankees held on to the ball and applied the tag for the 3rd out of the inning. The game may be continued at a later date if it has a barring on the final standings, for now it remains a tie. Other players who had a good game where Michelle Blaisdell who went 3-4 and scored 3 runs and Rachel Revey who allowed 2 hits and struck out 17. Nice work Cardinals
