Diamond Cats have decided to cancel the 10U bracket on 4/25/08 due to lack of interest. This should give the teams that signed up plenty of time to register for one of the 2 other local tournaments. Refund checks are in the mail.

ALL games this weekend will be played at Forest Park Community College; 5600 Oakland Avenue; St. Louis, MO. There is only one field so all games will be 75 minutes and need to keep moving to get them all in. We need to be ready at our game times and hustle on and off the field! This is a tournament as we are paying $35 per game to the umpires. It is a round robin and there are no trophies or winners declared, but it IS a tournament and not just practice. However, we can have 5 games for $175 and play in St. Louis, so this is a great deal. We will be getting our money refunded from both the Esprit Tournament and NSA Tournament, so what a deal!

NSA Qualifier Tournament Canceled! KAA is under 4 - 5 feet of water again and they cannot find an alternative location. Round Robin Friendly Tournament being planned by Esprit/Chaos, so we are hoping to get a chance to play. Games will be held at Forest Park Community College. More information will be passed on as it becomes available!

The Esprit had to move the tournament to the Maryland Heights Athletic Association. It is located about 1 mile east of I-270. Take Dorsett Rd east from I-270 to Fee Fee. (There is a Quik Trip on the corner). Left on Fee Fee, go about 1/2 mile, the complex is on the left just past the Midland Avenue intersection. Due to time constraints, the 12:30 and 2pm games will only be 80 minute games. The balance of the tournament will be 90 minute games. This will NOT affect us as we do not play either of those early Saturday games.
The tournament was supposed to be 2 pool games into double elimination, but has been changed to 1 pool game into double elimination with a consolation game on Sunday morning for anyone that loses their first 2 games. Everyone should be able to get in 4 games as long as the weather lasts. I have asked for a hotline number, but we don't have one at this time.

Missouri Madness Showcase I scheduled at Jefferson City rained out! Next tournament scheduled is the Diamond Cats' Mother's Day Tribute on May 9 - 11th. See you there!
