News and Announcements

Hello Five Hills Track & Field Family. I'm writing you all, because I, Coach Griffin, Coach Expose (200m & 400m), and Coach Luis (Long Distance) are now abroad serving the interest of our government and our way of life. Coach Suzanne (High Jump & 400m) may leave soon. Currently, our practices on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday have been aspiring. Our mid week practice (Wednesday) have been a tough one to attend, because of the intensity of homework and parental job obligations. To make it fair for everyone, we will cancel this practice until our Pre-Competition Phase, which begins late April, early May 03. If you want to practice just coordinated with Coach Ornelas, Coach Woods or Coach Stephens. I shall returned in about 60 to 70 days, because I'm retiring. So, I expect some fine tune muscles and great condition. I have a lot of fun things scheduled just for you. So, hold on to my personal motto, "Train Hard, Eat Right, Hydrate!" Our "Serving Coaches" send their well prayers and well wishe, as we know you send yours toward our defense of Freedom, Equality and Libery toward us! I'm sorry, I was unable to see most of you while I began to depart, but expect to see me real soon. BELIEVE: Track & Field is the only true sport; everything else is just a game! Football: Game! Basketball: Game! Volleyball: Game! Soccer: Game! Tennis: Game! Rugby: Game! Baseball: Game! Gymnastics: Glorified Dancing! The core of all games is physical conditioning. The better the athlete is conditioned, the better the athlete performs. Do not think the above activity is being dismissed as irrelevant compared to Track & Field. The above games are fun, and important to many of our lives. Track & Field conditioning shall give you the edge while competing or enjoying your chosen GAME! Have fun, and know I smile when I think of our new, veterans and Olympic Jack Rabbits performing all those Forward Lunges, Bambi Bounds, Hurdle Hops, Rope Jumping, Rope Running, Flex Kicks, African Dances, Drum Majors, Single Leg Stairs Hops, Double Leg Stair Hops, Running Stairs and those Fun Hills. Coach Expose, Coach Luis, Coach Suzanne and I, "Salute The Five Hills Jack Rabbits". GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR TRAINING DEVELOPMENT
