A Lion is Resting

It's with a heavy heart that we regret to inform you of the untimely
passing of Vastene S. Nolen. Vastene lead us tirelessly as the
Committee Chair for the Canton Lions Volunteer Board for the past
three years. In addition, this past year she served as a vital member 
of the 2006 Yearbook Development Staff.  Her son Josh (#24) played
for the Lions for the past three years.  Our thoughts and prayers go to
the Nolen family during this difficult time.

Lions expand program to offer instructional football

For 2007 the Canton Lions have expanded their football program to add an instructional team for 7 & 8 year olds.  This new team will enable more kids to participate and learn the game of football.  Click on the 2007 registration link for additional details.

Lions Freshmen Football to play at Ford Field !

The Canton Lions Freshmen team has been selected to play at a Detroit Lions football game! The Lions will be playing the Troy Cowboys during halftime of the Detroit Lions / Buffalo Bills game on Thursday, August 31st.  This is a great opportunity to participate in a NFL event and to play on the field that hosted Super Bowl XL.  Contact Ed Hollingsworth for additional details.image
