57 Heaven Classics

Posted by Kevin Jarrett at Apr 11, 2004 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
At the new '57 Heaven Museum in Branson Missouri, you can walk down memory lane through this unparalleled collection of the finest examples of American made steel, all from the year 1957. Comprised of over 70 cars, the collection is the brainchild of Glenn E. Patch, a media entrepreneur who has combined his love for classic automobiles with a comprehensive collection of 50’s rolling sculpture that preserves and honors the era. Complementing the classic automobile museum are period exhibits of an authentic 1950’s kitchen, living room and other examples of the roaring 50’s lifestyle exhibits, all reconstructed in settings that capture the mood and spirit of the period. The museum features a children’s’ room with an authentic display of hundreds of children’s toys from the 50’s and a gift shop with thousands of unique souvenirs and collectibles. The auto collection combines the bold, beautiful and powerful in a mixture of Chevy Bel-Air convertibles, Corvettes and two-seater Thunderbirds, Imperials, Fords, Lincolns, Cadillacs, Buicks, Olds, Pontiacs and Packards. At the 57 Heaven Museum you can see them parked at the Diner, on Main Street, or catch a glimpse of the action at the Drive-Inn Theatre. No where in the world have finer examples of these museum quality 1957 vintage automobiles been assembled in a single facility. image

Association Chevelle Enthusiasts Society

Posted by Kevin Jarrett at Apr 11, 2004 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the American Chevelle Enthusiast Society (ACES), and thank you for your support! The ACES is a new club dedicated exclusively to the preservation and maintenance of classic 1964-72 Chevelles, Malibus, and El Caminos. Your interest in America's favorite muscle car goes way beyond regarding them as merely an automotive appliance, and that you're passionate about owning, driving, working on, and absolutely enjoying everything about Chevelles. One of our first priorities at ACES is to serve our members by providing an open exchange of information, parts, services, and the technical support needed to keep our classic Chevelles on the road and in great shape. You'll find many of those needs are met in each bi-monthly issue of CHEVELLE WORLD. Another ACES priority is to keep the fun in Chevelle ownership. We are a fun-loving, family-oriented group, and will try to produce and promote events that will include the entire family. Upon joining, your ACES membership packet will be sent to you, along with your first issue of CHEVELLE WORLD. As a member , you'll also enjoy the benefits of free hobbyist advertising in the classifieds, the opportunity to see your Chevelle pictured in "Chevelle Showplace," and the comaraderie of others who appreciate Chevelles as much as you do. image

Inland Mopars

The counsel was created about the summer of 1995. It was needed to keep the calendar of car shows straight. With over forty car clubs in the area, to many were having big shows on the same day. So they were kind of stepping on each other and defeating the purpose of charity car shows. Then of course they have a lot of small car shows, which most aren't for charity. They're mostly held at small hamburger joints. image
