Elk Grove Junior Varsity Softball

I wanted to thank everyone that came to conditioning and tryouts. It was a tough decision selecting the team, which shows how hard everyone worked. A new roster will be added soon. For those of you who made them team, remember we expect you to work hard non-stop. We have a history of success with our program and we want to continue where we left off last season. So be ready for some demanding practices everyone. Take care everyone. Mike

Congratulations to both our Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams for winning the tournament. Both teams went through the tournament undefeated, playing some of the top rated teams in Northern California. We are very proud of each and everyone of you. Great job ladies!!!!

The 9th annual spaghetti feed was a great success. We had well over 200 people attending. Congrats go to all the players for their hard work in setting up, selling raffle tickets and cleaning up at the end. Thank you to Jeff Alexander and Ken Legualt for the efforts in the kitchen. The pasta was excellent. A big thank you goes out the Kevin Magee for his donation of the soda to our event. Another big thanks to Mary Miller for her donation of the bread. Next year we will remember the butter (sorry). Last, but not least thank you to all the parents who helped to make this a success. Congrats to Jenna from the JV team and Nicole from the Varsity team. They both won a $25.00 gift certificate to the store of their choice for selling/bringing in the most ticket money. And our big drawing winner for selling tickets was Sara from the JV team. Congratulations to all the raffle winners. It was a fun night for all!

THe ELk Grove Varsity Softball team went undefeated in the West Campus Pre-season tournment. ELk Grove only allowed 3 runs the entire tournament. Good Job Herd!
