KFOA HALL OF FAME BANQUET - Steve Joest, Chairman May 21, 2005 The KFOA Hall of Fame selection committee is proud to announce the inductees to the Eighteenth KFOA Hall of Fame, the Class of 2005! This year’s inductees will be Mike Hagan, Paul Jones, and John McGrath. I believe that these individuals are most worthy of this honor and that they will make a fine addition to this most prestigious group. They would be honored to have you attend their induction into the KFOA Hall of Fame. The 2005 Kentuckiana Football Officials Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Awards Banquet will be held at Big Spring Country Club, on Saturday May 21, 2005. There will be a cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15. This year, the Mike Schmitt Award and the Sam Gruneisen Award will be presented following dinner with the Hall of Fame induction ceremony immediately thereafter. This will indeed be a special night of celebration for all of the KFOA. The past seventeen induction ceremonies have been tremendous successes and it’s a great time to honor your fellow officials and renew old friendships! Why not make plans to attend? The cost of this year’s event remains $30.00 per person. The cocktail reception will be a cash bar. Reservations can be made by filling out the reservation form attached and returning it with a check, made out to the KFOA, no later than May 14, 2005. KFOA SPRING MEETING The first general membership meeting for 2005 is set for May 18th at Papa Johns Stadium at 7:00 PM. If you have not sent in your availability sheets we need them NOW. Our ability to service the schools and leagues is based on our number of officials. We need your information sheets with updated addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc as well as availability. We need them whether you know your schedule for the season, or not, you can update your availability in the fall.
