2006 De La Salle Football Schedule

After much waiting and anticipating, the 2006 De La Salle Football schedule is finally out. The 2006 season starts Friday, August 25th with a home game for the 4th straight year against the Doughboys of Detroit Pershing. The next week, Thursday, August 31st, De La Salle travels to Flint to play a new opponent: Flint Carmen-Ainsworth, the first time DLS has played a team from the Big Nine Conference. Week 3, Friday, September 8th, sees a team from across the border in La Salle (Ont.) Sandwich taking on the Pilots for the third straight year. The next week, Friday, September 15th, will find De La Salle playing its first league game, this one against U of D Jesuit at FORD FIELD. The following week, Sunday, September 24th, we see the Pilots travel to Novi to take on Catholic Central in the 62nd Annual Boys Bowl contest. Week 6 has the Pilots traveling to Crestwood High School to take on Divine Child on Saturday, September 30th. The Pilots come back home in Week 7 when they take on Brother Rice on Friday, October 6th for Homecoming/Hall of Fame Weekend. The league season ends the following week when the Eaglets of St. Mary's take on the Pilots on Friday, October 13th at the Warren Community Center. The Week 9 game will see the Pilots either with crossover game Friday, October 20th OR at Ford Field for a Prep Bowl game on Saturday, October 21st. Note: All De La Salle home games this year will be at the Warren Community Center (Old Warren High) between 13 and 14 Mile Road, between Mound and Ryan Road and all home games will start at 7:00 pm. 2006 De La Salle Football Schedule August 25th: Detroit Pershing @ Home, 7:00 PM August 31st: @ Flint Carmen-Ainsworth, 7:00 PM September 8th: La Salle (Ont.)
