The Lady Golden Bears Improve Their Record To (15-3)After They Deafeated Connersville 60-51 Saturday afternoon. The Bears Led From Start To Finish in this one and by as many as 15 in the 3rd quarter. The bears did not have a field goal in the 4th period but were 16 of 18 from the free throw-line. Shelbyville was led in scoring by Gretchen Haehl with 18, Katie Jackson 11, Dana Gardner 8, Gwen Haehl 7, Haley Wise 6, Blayr Green 5, Christy Sammons 3, and LeeAnn Douglas 2. The lady bears will be in action at Franklin Tuesday and Thursday at home against Eastern Hancock before sectional play begins Feb.10th at Columbus North. Note: The sectional draw will be carried on WIBC 1070 radio on Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Golden Bears Improve Their Record To (14-3)Overall And Finish (5-2)In The HHC After Defeated Delta 50-33. Their Hopes Of A Share Of The Conference Title Ended When Rusville Defeated New Pal (50-48) Saturday Afternoon. The Lady Golden Bears Have Not Loss At Home Since The Championship Game Of The Sectional 2002 To South Dearborn 50-49. The Bears Were Led In Scoring By Gretchen Haehl 19,Dana Gardner 10, Gwen Haehl 7,Haley Wise 5,Katie Jackson And LeeAnn Douglas Had 3 Apiece, Christy Sammons 2,And Lauren Murphy 1. It Was The Last Home Game For The Seniors. The Bears Have Three Games Left All On The Road Begining At Triton Central Tuesday Night Connersville Jan31st And Franklin Feb.3rd The Sectional Will Begin Feb.10th At Columbus North.
