Nationals vs Menasha Macs: Friday 7:05
Nationals vs Clintonville A's: Saturday 1PM
Nationals vs Neopit Indians: Saturday 3PM
Saturday afternoon a skeleton squad met to play the Dodgers in an exhibition tilt. Despite a dearth of manpower, the squad performed efficiently. The offense produced tallies in each of the games 6 innings in route to a 6-0 shutout.
Chris Marks was the hitting star, maximizing his softball prowess by knocking in two baseball runs. Nick Kibler and Jim Dettmann were nearly unhittable on the mound. Each pitched three scoreless innings and mixed his pitches well.
Most impressive was the team defense. Despite having only 7 men on the field in the last inning, Nick Radliff, James Herkowski, and Mark Van Hart combined for a 6-4-3 double play to secure the shutout victory.
The Nationals open their Regular Season Schedule this Friday in Menasha. Game time is 7:15pm.

The Board of Directors honored Robert Kleinschmidt today by inducting him into the team's Hall of Fame. Robert played and managed the squad between 1985 and 1994 and contributed to 6 Division Championships and 3 County Championships.
Robert's legacy to the franchise is his team-first approach to decision making. Robert sacrificed his playing career when he retired prematurely to assume a vacated managerial position.
Robert continues to offer his support in the new millenium as well. This year he was instrumental in securing a sponsorship from the Harvey Kuenn Foundation.
Robert joins six previous inductees in the Hall of Fame. Please check that page for further details.
The final push is on! If you have a desire to participate in this year's 18 hole golf outing and Hall of Fame induction ceremony, sign our message board today.
Tee time is 10:30am on Saturday May 5th. Cost is $50 per person and will cover food, limited drinks, and greens fees. Proceeds from this event will go toward the team's spring trip to Menasha and Clintonville, Wisconsin.
