Nationals Suffer First Loss of Season

The Nationals took a road trip last night for a game against the State League Champion Sheboygan A's. Unfortunately, the team forgot its bats at home. Struggling against A's starting pitcher, Joe Lefebre, the Nationals were unable to muster a run until Chris Marks scored in the seventh inning to cut the A's lead to 8-1. Jim Dettmann started the game on the hill and went 5 innings before giving way to Tim Spata. For complete details please see our Stats page.

Nationals and Redlegs Rained Out

A Doubleheader versus the Redlegs was postponed on Saturday due to wet grounds. The games will be rescheduled later this summer.

The West Allis Nationals overcame injuries, employment conflicts, and the elements to secure a victory in their conference opener. Short several starters and playing in a steady drizzle, the Nats battled to a 15-7 victory. The second game of the scheduled DH was rained out. Nationals win League Opener

Despite the poor weather, the Nats were able a substantial offensive performance in defeating Cream City 15-7. James Herkowski and Jake Koutnik had two hits each as the squad successfully began its title defense. Jim Dettmann overcame some early wildness to notch his second victory of the year.
