Redlegs Drop Out of League

The Redlegs Baseball Club officially disbanded today, creating openings in the Nationals schedule.
The Nationals are credited with 4 more victories as a result of the Redlegs departure, but will seek alternative opponents to fill the void.
At this time, there will be NO GAMES PLAYED ON SUNDAY JULY 8.

The game versus the West Bend Benders has been rescheduled for MONDAY JULY 16, 7:30PM AT WEST BEND.
More details will be offered this weekend.

Seven members of the West Allis Nationals were named to the South Division All Star Team this evening.
Pitcher: Jim Dettman
First Base: Mike Czarnecki
Second Base: Chris Kaebisch
Shortstop: Mark Van Hart
Third Base: James Herkowski
Outfield: Joe Reisinger
Outfield: Jake Koutnik

Nationals Sweep Rajun Cajuns

The Nationals jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in route to a 20-1 victory over the Cajuns Sunday nite at Zirkel Field.
Mike Czarnecki hit a triple and homer for 3 RBI and Mark Van Hart added 3 RBI of his own as the team improved to 6-0.
The team continued its success in game two, prevailing by a score of 9-5. Brian Gibson and Mark Van Hart led the way with two hits each and Nick Kibler picked up his third win of the year.

Nationals Sweep Jo-Cats/ J.J. Returns from Exile

The Nationals' offense broke loose for 26 runs in a doubleheader sweep of Jo-Cats Pub, prevailing by scores of 15-5 and 11-0. The team now stands at 5-0 in league play and 8-1 overall.
Mike Czarnecki led the way in game 1 with 5 hits and 2 RBI, while Mark Van Hart added 2 hits and 4 RBI.
Tim Spata and Nick Kibler combined on a shutout in game 2. The Nationals cruised from the start, scoring 7 runs in the first inning to break the game open.
