The Nationals took a road trip last night for a game against the State League Champion Sheboygan A's. Unfortunately, the team forgot its bats at home.
Struggling against A's starting pitcher, Joe Lefebre, the Nationals were unable to muster a run until Chris Marks scored in the seventh inning to cut the A's lead to 8-1.
Jim Dettmann started the game on the hill and went 5 innings before giving way to Tim Spata.
For complete details please see our Stats page.
A Doubleheader versus the Redlegs was postponed on Saturday due to wet grounds.
The games will be rescheduled later this summer.
