Winchester Eagles Volleyball Club

The Winchester Eagles newly-formed Ladies team made their debut with a friendly match against Basingstoke Ladies team on Friday 11th Oct.

Despite not playing with one another as a squad, and the ladies having their first ladies training on the Monday previous, the team came together and totalled 11. It took the ladies a bit of time to warm to each other, and we lost a middle player to injury in the first 6 mins, but eventually winning the last of 3 sets (15-25, 21-25, 25-23). Some of us even followed the eagles tradition and went to the pub with the opposition after!
