Our varsity boys basketball team started district play with a huge win on the road at Beaumont Kelly, 56-52. The team showed a lot of heart and determination throughout the game. Our boys battled adversity early on, falling down by 16 points with a couple of minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter. After going into the half down by 12, our Vikings were confident they were going to make a run. Anchored by their stingy defense and intensity, our Vikings made a big run in the 2nd half, securing a 65-62 road win at State-ranked Beaumont Kelly.

Our Varsity boys basketball team is now 1-0 in district play after that huge road win. Come support our boys at HOME this Friday as they play against Awty at 7:00!

The Varsity boys basketball team is off to a great start to the season, posting a 8-0 record at this time. The team has quality wins against CHSM, SATCH, Emery Weiner, and Conroe Lifestyle Christian. The players are working very hard and buying into what it takes to be a good team. On Monday, November 21st, the program hosted the first annual Rock Classic Basketball Tournament held by the boys varsity basketball team. The following day, history was made again with the Varsity Boys winning the championship game of the Rock Classic. Coach Harvey credits his senior leadership as the reason for the team’s early success. “Our seniors are stepping up and leading this team to victory.” The Vikings travel to San Antonio on Dec. 1 for their next basketball tournament. The players are very excited about the way things are going so far and look forward to playing their next game.

Our varsity boys basketball team is off to a incredible start, posting a 14-0 record at the break. Winning 3 championships, and being ranked # 1 in the state by Tapps along the way, Coach Harvey is very pleased with the progress of the players to this point but, knows that his team will have to continue to improve to have success in a very tough district which is Tapps 4 A. The players have worked extremely hard and are receiving the benefits of their hard work. The Vikings next home will be on Jan. 8th at 7:00pm. Please come and support them. Thanks and Go Vikings.
