The 8th grade boys basketball team made great strides this season. The team finished with a 4-10 record and qualified for the HJPC Tournament at the end of the season. After a slow start to the season, the boys won their first game in the KinKaid tournament against St. Paul II and during a stretch from the end of December to early January the team went on a run where they won three out of four games. The highlight of the season was a great come from behind win at home against St. Michael’s that qualified the team for the HJPC Tournament against AOS. The boys fought hard in the tournament but came up short in the first round game.

Coach DeBakey appreciated all the boys hard work and wishes them the best next season as they enter high school! Go Vikings!
