Congratulations to our 9/10 Langley Braves for taking home the gold in this past weekend’s Aldergrove Mosquito tournament.

The Braves played our 9/10 Yankees in the finals and came out on top 9-5. Both teams played extremely well in the tournament and had a lot of fun. The Braves went 4-0 for the win.

Great job Langley; you did us proud again!

Congratulations to Jen and Wyatt Denman for winning 1st prize in the Langley Baseball Raffle.

Second place went to Doug Crone; ticket seller Kyle Pfeifer and third place to Karen Mason; ticket seller Caleb Faust.

George Preston has a long history with Langley and was immensely generous with both his time and resources. He was Mayor of the Township of Langley, Chairman of the Fraser River Harbor Commission, president of the Museum of Flight, the Rotary Club, the chamber of commerce and the Auto Dealer’s Association of BC just to name a few. He was a big sponsor of countless local sport teams and this weekend we honor his legacy of involvement in our community.

Congratulations to our 8 year olds for defeating Whalley 19-12 in the finals to take home the gold in the North Langley Will Smith Invitational.

Nice job and way to represent Langley City!
