News and Announcements
As we mentioned at our Annual AGM tonight we have three great community partners coming together for one amazing program! We are proud of this great community partnership.
We are pleased to announce that the former Daystar Hockey Clinic will now be directed by TMHA and be known as the O’Reilly’s Hockey Program sponsored by O’Reilly Source for Sports. We have the very best power skating instructor leading the program and content Lisa Tremblay from Discover Fitness Discover Performance to provide a new power skating hockey program for 3,4,5,6 year olds beginning September 2022. Come learn from a certified power skating instructor and other qualified coaches.
More information on the content of the program will be provided in the coming weeks. Registration to follow.
Please share this with your friends and spread the word. We are so excited to offer this initiative.
TMHA would like to remind all families of our Inclement Weather Policy. Games and Practices tonight are a go however not mandatory. If you can’t make your event, please let your team know.
Each parents/guardians must assess their own risk when making the decision to travel due to weather or other extenuating circumstances. It is not possible for TMHA to assess each families travel situation. It is recommended that weather and road conditions be checked prior to commencing travel which includes practices, games and tournaments.
TMHA is asking for parent input on your coach’s performance for the 2021-2022 season.
The TMHA Board has approved that information from the surveys will only be sent to the TMHA Board President.
From there, he will remove the identifying names (parents/guardians) once he verifies the legitimacy of the respondent.
He will then send the content summary to the coaches interview committee for 2022-2023 hockey season.
On behalf of the TMHA Board of Directors, thank you for your valued input.
There have been an increase in the number of positive cases in our hockey community in the past week. All parents please ensure your child actively screens prior to attending practices or games using the feature on your teams website. If they have symptoms please stay home! An increase in cases leads to cancelling practices and games and we don’t want this to spread. Please be diligent and responsible. Thank You
