Good evening P.A.L.L. Families:

With the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Poway American Little League has received directive from the Little League International Board of Directors and regretfully, we must once again, follow the recommendation to suspend all Little League activities through Monday, May 11, 2020 and may not resume earlier than.

We understand and sadly recognize that this is the heart of the traditional Little League season, and we share in the great disappointment that many are feeling surrounding this additional pause in the 2020 season. However, we are hopeful that by doing this, we will all assist in playing an important part in flattening the curve in the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

We will continue to stay well informed with updates from appropriate medical advisers, government health officials and our leaders around the world, as we are 100% committed to doing the best we can for the safety and well-being of our players, families, volunteers, and fans.

Currently, Little League International is working through all possible scenarios for the 2020 Little League International Tournament and tournament eligibility for our leagues and players in our various divisions of play. It is our sincere hope that once we have come through this and the suspensions have been lifted, we will have been instructed on ways implemented by LLIBD to bring everyone back to our fields and continue our season, whether that’s later this spring or throughout the summer.

Poway American Little League will continue to provide additional information on any further delays that will be of further impact the baseball season. Please visit www.LittleLeague.org/Coronavirus where a series of FAQ’s have been developed to assist all LL families looking for further information . We are committed to sharing information as it becomes available on issues that affect all P.A.L.L. players and their participation for the year.

Should you desire additional information outside the scope of what our parent LL site has to offer, there are countless resources available, and we urge you to research the information available through the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), your California’s public health department, and other San Diego County and/or local authorities and government agencies.

We encourage you to stay in touch with Little League and if you would like to share any additional feedback or questions from our local community by emailing marketing@pallbaseball.org.

All of us here at Poway American Little League would like to thank you all for your loyalty, understanding, and community support. We will be thinking of our local as well as our global Little League community during this difficult and uncertain time.

We wish you all good health.

Poway American Little League Board of Directors
