HOUSTON INVITATIONAL LACROSSE TOURNAMENT

Welcome to the Houston Invitational, sponsored by Clear Lake Lacrosse in partnership with the University of Houston.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY: The first Clear Lake Lacrosse tournament was held in 2002 and was limited to high school boys' competition. This first tournament was held on 2 fields with 8 teams from the Houston area. In keeping with the trememous growth of the sport, the tournament moved to the University of Houston's main campus in 2005. The mid-January two day tournament continues to grow in popularity and is currently one of the largest venues of its kind. It plays host to more than 50 boys and girls high school and middle school teams throughout Texas and Louisiana, and over 1000 spectators attend each day to take part in the festivities and watch the fastest game on two feet.
