Like the Brier, Scotties ; Seniors and other Canadian Curling Championships, The Masters are hosted annually in the provinces across Canada.
Great efforts by the host locations are key in developing successful across Canada Masters Curling Championships ! Thanks

Masters Championships have been running since 1987, Masters 2020 and then 2021 Championships were temporarily on hold due to Covid Safety Considerations . In 2020 most Provincial Championships were played before the safety shutdown . The 2021 national play was/is set for Manitoba . ( Covid considerations and protocols are in consideration and may cause dates and locale changes.) Present locale was set for the Pembina CC 2021) 2022 Rotation index is for Mainitoba to host 2022 Masters of Canada and hopefully then revive to sequence fall to Quebec province 2023 ( Civid considerations TB a and TBC?) .

BREAKING NEWS 2022
After considerable consultation and deliberation, the Co-Chairs of the 2022 Canadian Masters Championship Host Committee and the Pembina Curling Club Board of Directors have unanimously agreed that the safest and best course of action is to cancel or postpone the 2022 Canadian Masters Championship scheduled for April 3 – 10, 2022. The inherent risk and ever changing level of clarity and confidence brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic has made this decision extremely difficult and it was not taken lightly.

Despite restrictions in many provinces being loosened, the safety of everyone – competitors, volunteers, staff and spectators – was at the forefront of considerations. Other considerations included the overall integrity of the event, Pembina Curling Club and Curl Manitoba as well as the quality of the competitive and social aspects that could be offered during the event not to mention the financial risk during these challenging times.

We are saddened that this decision had to be made and we know this is not the news anyone wanted to hear but we are committed to holding the next Canadian Masters Championship when we are able to confidently host a safe and successful event.
