Major League Girls Softball Evaluations :For those not currently playing at the Major League level
10, 11, and 12 year olds - 9:00am to 11:00am.
*9 year olds wishing to try out for the major league must attend also.
Senior League Girls Softball Evaluations :For those not currently playing at the Senior League level
13 , 14, and 15 year olds - 11:00 am to 12:30pm.
Little League Baseball institutes the Pitch Count for the 2007 season
The pitch count was instituted to protect the arms of young pitchers. You can read all the details by clicking on the headline. Please note that the rules have been modified for the 2008 season.
Dear Little League Families:
South Kingstown American & National Little League (SKLL) will hold its Annual General Membership Meeting on Wednesday October 17, 2007 at 7:00pm at the Neighborhood Guild. The meeting is open to all adult members of SKLL. The agenda shall be: Reports of 2007 season, Review of 2008 season goals, and election of Board of Directors. Following the General membership meeting, the new Board shall meet to elect the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Safety Officer, & Player Agent as required by Little League International. The new Board shall also determine other Board positions and committees as deemed appropriate to conduct the business and affairs of SKLL.
Anyone interested in serving on the Board of Directors must contact the Secretary- Sean Deibler at skllsoftball@yahoo.com or leave a message on SKLL voicemail at 782-3410, by October 10, 2007. Candidates must be SKLL members in good standing, be willing to oversee a division of play or other programs of SKLL, be committed to the ideals & philosophy of Little League Baseball, be willing to attend monthly (or more) meetings, and cannot be participants in an outside baseball organization of similar aged players. Parents who do not manage or coach in SKLL are encouraged to consider serving on the Board of SKLL.
