What are the residency requirements?

Posted by Carla Steinmetz at Dec 29, 2013 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

Merritt Island Little League does have residency requirements that vary by season.  Our league boundaries cover all of Merritt Island down to the Pineda Causeway.  Proof of residency is required at registration.  See Forms & Documents for more information.

New Little League rules now allow players who attend a Merritt Island school to play in Merritt Island Little League.  Registering players must provide our league with the Little League School Enrollment form validating attendance at a Merritt Island school.  See Forms & Documents for more information.

Fall Season: Residency rules are relaxed for the Fall Ball season.  Merritt Island Little League accepts players from all over Central Brevard provided their own league is not offering a Fall Ball program.

In an All-Star matchup between Merritt Island Little League 11-12 year olds and Cocoa Little League 11-12 year olds, BRENT DIXON smashed a 3 run homer out of the park.  I am pretty sure this makes an even dozen for Brent this year.  Way to go Brent !!!
