Entries and Clerking Schedule - Track Meet - February 4th

Hello,

This next track meet will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 8am.  Track meet will be at either Millennium or Agua Fria (will let you guys know location as soon as I know for sure). Please be at the track at 7am for warm-ups and to sit in the first section closest to the finish line.

 

Entries are in and attached. We will not be wearing uniforms in this track meet.  If you have a uniform, please DO NOT wear it.  We will wear black shorts or tights and a red shirt.

 

8 AND UNDER GIRLS PARENTS WILL BE SCHEDULED TO WORK THE CLERKING TABLE...... Please open the Clerking Schedule to see what time you need to report.  You are responsible for working or providing a replacement for your clerking schedule.  As always other parents can come down to help out.  Please go check on them from time to time in case of no shows. Especially during the 55, 200 and 400 meter check ins.

26th Annual Indoor Classic Details:  
  • Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.  Track meet starts are 8:00am.
  • All athletes need to be at the track by 7:00am wearing Black and Red (No athlete should have on any other colors, including bra straps).
  • This is a great indoor meet and has participants from other states.  Everyone should try to attend.  Please note that there is no school on Monday, February 20th - Presidents Day. 
  • Please email us at azcheetahs@yahoo.com if you need a room with Your Name, Arrival Date, Departure date, Phone Number, Child's Name.
We will be staying at Baymont Inn Flagstaff (was Fairfield Inn), 2005 South Milton Road ,  Flagstaff,  AZ 86001-0805. The room rate is $99 a night plus tax, includes a free breakfast.  
 
 
DO NOT CALL THE HOTEL TO RESERVE - Please send me an email.  You will be notified after the rooming list is complete when you can call.  All we obtained a discount and are under contract to use a certain number of rooms.  If you sign up for a room, please do not call and cancel or even worst just not show up because the team will be liable.  I need to know of all changes and/or decisions regarding rooms whether the room is confirmed on your credit card or not.

Old Uniforms & Spikes

Hi,

If have any uniforms that you are no longer using, please bring them to practice.

If you have any spikes you can donate, please bring them to practice.

If you need spikes please stop by the concession stand and let us know.

Results are posted - Go online to - http://www.usatf.org/assoc/az/results/170128-Dev.htm and see how your child did.  What a great meet it was... The kids did really well.  Parents please remember to be patient and give them time to develop and grow.

Clerking Table - Thank you to the parents who showed up for their shift and worked the clerking table... Your help and support is mucho appreciated.   Parents please show up and work your shift and if you cannot work, please assign someone to take your spot.   

 

FEES

Everyone should have at least $150 on the books.  If you do not please send me an email ASAP.  As always, if  you can donate extra please do.

 

Next Meet - Saturday, February 4th at 8am... Please be at the track no later than 7:00am
It was good seeing everyone sitting together at the finish line.  Please continue to sit together as a team.... This meet will have Indoor events that will be run in Flagstaff.
