Entries and Clerking Schedule - Track Meet - February 19, 2017

Hello,     

 

NAU's Indoor Track is a six lane (8 lane straight-away) 300m flat Mondo track.  Spikes that can be used are 1/4" Pyramid or less ONLY, no needle or Christmas Tree spikes.  The team will have some spikes but if you can please purchase and change before you get there.

 

Track Meet is in Flagstaff at NAU

Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 8:00am - Be at the track at 7:00 am and sit in the first section closest to the finish line... 

 

The meet will not be cancelled because of snow.  Leave EARLY,take you time and drive safe.  Prayers are lifted for safe travels for every team and unattached athlete driving up.   Please take the time to do the same. 

 

This is a very long track meet longer than usual.  There will be teams from other states.  Please bring more water, Gatorade and snacks than usual.  You can also purchase there....  

 

There will be a team meeting in the lobby on Saturday night, February 18th at 8pm.

NO PRACTICE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH

There will be no practice on Monday, February 20, 2017.

See you guys on Tuesday ready to work - Time to grind at practice and next meets to be ready for the Phoenix Invitational in April.

Just a reminder that every family needs to donate for the concessions - We need LOTS of water and Gatorade so grab a couple of cases and bring to practice.  Plus any other nonperishable items you can afford.

Reminder that we will also need lots of help so please recruit parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, friends, co-workers, etc.  We can even give community service hours.

With Great Sadness

For those that know the family, it is with great sadness that I have to let you guys know that Trace Washington has passed on.

Please keep his wife Samaj and kids Asai and Ani in your prayers.  I have reached out to see what they need and right now she just stated meals as she has not had the time nor strength to figure anything else out.  So if you can afford it I think we should do gift cards to some restaurants and/or stores.

I will let everyone know when I have more information.  But for now let's make sure this request for meals is done.

IT IS $20 PER CHILD TO ENTER THIS MEET. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FLAGSTAFF PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!

Please note that at this meet ALL parents will be scheduled for clerking.
