Two Snapper Swim Club Records Broken

Posted by Jim Hennessey at Mar 21, 2018 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Two Snapper long time team records have been broken after a period of as long as 14 years!

In the 8 and under girls catagory, first year SNAPPER Suri Tolentino broke the team short course record in the 50 breaststroke this past weekend at the NE Silver meet @ University of Rhode Island.  The previous record was held by Neeka Daemi since 2008.

In the 11-12 girls catagory, Zoe Holmes took down the team record in the 50 backstroke that had been held since 2004 by Maggie Rosenbaum.  Zoe did so in a swim off at the NE 11-14 Championships @ Boston University to determine 20th place in the 50 backstroke, she won the swim off by .03 seconds!
