Practices: The practices are generally held at Sunflower Elementary. All kids must have mouth guards. We will start regular practices in late February or early March. The practices are typically held once or twice a week in the evenings and Saturdays.  We will send out an email when practice time is scheduled.

Games: In the past, our games have been held on Saturdays mornings. We should have a total of 6 to 7 games followed by 1 playoff weekend. Games start in April and end the weekend prior to Memorial Day in May.

Registrations & Dues: AULC is responsible for collecting our dues and then turning in registrations to the city. The registration fee has not been set for 2019 and the equipment rental fee is $5 per piece. Checks should be made out to AULC (Andover United Lacrosse Club).

League rules: High School federation rules. Same as last year. No running body checks (one-step rule). Two 20 minute periods.

Problem resolution: We don’t expect any problems, but the coaches can’t be everywhere. If you have a concern with a practice, coach, ref, etc., please let a coach know outside of the hearing distance of the kids. We will share the concern with the other coaches and work to resolve any issues.

Andover United Lacrosse Club (AULC) is an instructional sports club designed to introduce lacrosse to players in the Wichita, KS area while creating a quality foundation of support for participating high school programs in the future. AULC participates with other clubs in the Wichita Youth Lacrosse League. We welcome players from 3rd to 8th grade. No lacrosse experience is necessary. We are an open enrollment club, there are no try-outs.

Our purpose is to promote lacrosse among individuals in grades 3 through 8, with an emphasis on providing the fundamentals and introducing the fast-growing sport to our youth community. Our goal is to teach the kids lacrosse skills, teamwork, communication, and have fun. We will try to win every game, but not at the cost of compromising our objectives.

We are a parent-volunteer club who intend to provide the best environment for players to introduce, learn, improve, and excel at the game of lacrosse. We are always looking for more parent-volunteers should you be interested, no prior experience is necessary.

6th to 8th grade LAX:  6th through 8th grade plays full field lacrosse with two 20 minute halves.

3rd-5th grade Chumash League: The city will run a chumash league again for the 3rd - 5th graders. The Andover chumash team will try to coordinate practice times with the 6th-8th AULC and hold practices on the other side of the field.
