Red Sox 5 vs Cardinals 7
The Cardinals kept the Red Sox scoreless for 2 innings with a 3-zip lead, until Bryson Dansbury rocked one over the center field fence for a two-run shot. Two batters later Caleb Pittman had fans on both sides of the field in awe of another two-shot homer that plunked the top of the portables (about 225 feet from the plate). This gave the Red Sox a 1 run lead that was short-lived. The Cardinals put 4 more runs up in the last 3 innings to send the Red Sox down to the losers bracket.

Cubs 4 vs Rangers 14
Coach Foley's masters of the mound made quick work of the Cubs, ending the game in four innings. Both Mason Rhodes and Aiden Foley gave up less runs pitching than they did hitting. Both scored 3 and only gave up 2 each on the mound. Final score: Cubs 4, Rangers 14.
Reds 4 vs Orioles 14
Alex Potter and Dominic Younger held the Reds to 4 runs, giving up 2 each. The Reds tried to get something going in the 4th inning, but were unable to stop Coach Lowden's O's from ending the game short with a 10 run mercy rule. Final score: Reds 4, Orioles 14.

Phillies 9 vs Braves 8
The #11 seeded Phillies trailed the #6 seeded Braves for 5 innings. Iziah Turner cracked a shot over the center field fence with his world class hitting coach watching from the home field stands. Some have said, "Coach Scott is the best there is." Unfortunately for the Braves, the Phillies closed the gap and came out of the top of the 6th with a 3 run lead. The Braves were only able to score 2 more, falling one run short, and finding themselves down in the bottom of the bracket.
