Off Season Conditioning!!!
Hello Charger Families and hopefully Future Charger Families!
As most of you know, we began our off season conditioning program last week, to great success! Participation this season is through the roof! We hope to see all of our signed up Chargers as well as any other kids out there that simply want to run around, work on some speed and agility, and get acclimated to the weather change! We only have a few more weeks left then a brief rest until Mid July when season starts!
About the program:
Simply running and exercise drills, mainly to get kids acclimated to the weather and back in some running shape to better be prepared for fall/summer sports (work off that winter coat). This is a conditioning only program, there will be no footballs, no “plays”, no position specific drills. We usually run about 4-5 stations that include speed and agility, along with proper stretching in the beginning, and some conditioning at the end.
Our program is Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Shasta Park in Manteca, from 6pm -7pm. Please arrive a little early for we start promptly at 6pm. If you have not filled out a waiver, please arrive even earlier to do so. Many of our Charger coaches and board members are out there, come get to now us!
