The girls team, against a team that was triple the size of them, came up one point short of continuing their undefeated season losing 62-61 to Wallenpaupack.  Brook Estadt continued her winning ways with a win in the long jump, triple jump, and she anchored the winning 4x4 against a previously unbeaten Wallenpaupack team.  Madison Harding also added three wins.  She won the hurdles and 400 and joined Estadt, Kayla Agentowicz, and Katie Retzbach to continue their undefeated season in the 4x4.  No team has been within 30 meters of that school record holding 4x4.  Agentowicz also added a win in the high jump, where she remains undefeated.  Taylor Flynn finished up with 1st in the 100m.  The boys team fought hard against a 4-1 Wallenpaupack team.  They ended up losing 71-52.  Collin Cooper lead the way with wins in the 400, 200, and 4x4.  Brandon Donahue won the 100 and was also a part of that winning 4x4 relay.  Lakeland got its second win of the season in the 4x1.  That team consisted of Mike Lowry, Josh Strong, Tyler Schwartstrauber, and Jonathon Wade.  Paul Forbes continued his hot streak in the jumps with wins in the long and triple jumps.  The boys move to 1-5 and the girls fall to 5-1.  The regular season finishes up next Tuesday @ Scranton Prep. 
The boys team continued its stellar season with a 96-54 win over Wallenpaupack.  Casey Albino (100,200,400), Gavin O'Donnell (110H, 300H, triple jump), and Mark Arzie (4x8, mile, 800) led the way with three wins a piece.  The 4x1 team of Cody Morcom, Scotty Cortes, JJ Rojenches, and Timmy Hackenberg got their second win of the season. The A team 4x8, together for the first time this season, dominated with a 8:51 win.  Zach Krieger, Tim VonStorch, Arzie, and Nathan Morgan made up that team.  Morgan also won the 3200.  Jake Noldy got the final win of the day in the pole vault.  Gavin O'Donnell made it on to the Lakeland top 10 in the triple jump.  The boys team moves to 4-2.  Head Coach Art Davis moves to 3rd on the all-time coaches win list with four wins.  The girls team, hurt by sick team members, lost 89-61.  Tori Doyle again lead the way with four wins and a school record.  She set the pole vault mark with a vault of 10-3.  The old record was 10-0 set by Regina Ryan in 2010.  Doyle also won the 100H, high jump, and ran on the victorious 4x1 team.  She was joined on that team by Emily Williams, Ashton Boyarsky, and Sarah Larkin.  Boyarsky (long, triple) and Larkin (100,200) added two wins a piece on the day.  Dana Buskovitz added the last win with a nice 300H race.  The girls move to 4-2 with the loss.  The next meet is Monday vs. Scranton Prep.

Track and Field is a game of inches.  It showed in the girls meet today.  Getting places in the jumps and throws by inches, they won 76-74.  A veteran senior and a rookie freshman led the way.  Tori Doyle and Cassidy Jenkins led the team with three wins a piece.  Jenkins won the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and ran on the winning 4x1 team.  Doyle won the high jump, pole vault, and was also a member of the winning 4x1.  Sarah Larkin defeated what should be her top competitor in the 100m and anchored the winning 4x1 team to a victory.  Ashton Boyarsky won the long jump and Alex Miller added wins in the 4x8 and two mile.  The girls move to 4-1.  The boys team got some great performances in a 93-57 win.  The 4x8 team started the meet off with a dominating win.  The team consisted of Tim Von Storch, Zach Krieger, Dave Scalzo, and Scotty Cortes.  Sophomore Gavin O'Donnell added three wins in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and long jump.  Mark Arzie continued his stellar freshman campaign with a win in the mile and 800m.  He also made it onto the Lakeland top 10 list in the mile, as did his teammate Nathan Morgan.  Morgan also won the 2 mile.  Casey Albino PRed in the 400m and made it on to Lakeland's Prestigous top ten list with a time of 51.6.  Willy Demyan won the discus and Dante Deantonio won the javelin.  Stan Kaminsky got his first career victory in the polevault.  The boys move to 3-2.  The next meet is Tuesday @ Wallenpaupack. 
Against Honesdale, 8th Grader Kayla Agentowicz broke her own school record in the 800m with a time of 2:34.2.  She then teamed with Katie Retzbach, Madison Harding, and Brooke Estadt to break a 16 year old record in the 4x4 relay with a time of 4:28.26.  Estadt continued her dominant season with wins in the long and triple jump.  She also teamed with Agentowicz, Kristen Hlavaty, and Taylor Flynn to remain undefeated in the 4x1 relay. Harding won the 100 and 300 hurdles and Agentowicz won the high jump.  Molly Mikulak took the win in the shot put and Carolyn Cortes got her first career victory in the discus.  The girls move to 5-0 with a 70-53 win.  The boys got their first win of the season with a 72-49 win.  The 4x8 team of Nick Setta, Kurt Reeves, Joey Snedeker, and Mike Arzie got the first win of the meet.  Brandon Donahue added three wins in the 100m, 400m, and part of the 4x4 team that took first.  Tommy Dastalfoe, Wesley Tuffy, and Collin Cooper were the other members of that 4x4 relay team.  Cooper also added a win in the 200m.  The 4x1 team of Mike Lowry, Josh Strong, Tyler Schwartstrauber, and Johnathon Wade got their first win of the season.  Paul Forbes added two wins in the triple jump and long jump, while Antonio Cerminaro added a big win in the shot put.  The boys move to 1-4.  The next meet is Wednesday vs. Wallenpaupack.
