Reminder

Posted by Sharon Minato-Sokol at May 4, 2019 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

There is no practice on May 24, 2012 since there are no games the weekend of May 26 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
Our last practice is on May 31.
Our last game is on June 2.
**Closing Day is Coming!**
When: Saturday, June 9th following the Championship Games (approx 12noon)
Where: TABB Mustang and Bronco Fields
Announcements will start on the Bronco Field following the Games:  BE THERE
They will announce and distribute Hit-A-Thon recognition prizes and pass out Trophies
With regards to Team Parties, if you are new to TABB (or don't remember from last year)  here is how it works:
Each team sets up an "area" on the field.  I highly recommend bringing an Ez-Up as it gets very sunny and hot out there.  Trophys will be handed out that day to the managers and you can have a "ceremony" of sorts at your picnic area to give out trophy's.  You can also hand out Coaches gifts ect.
Regarding food:  The snack bar will be closed after the games.  You can do a potluck and have your parents sign up to bring different foods, you can bring a BBQ and have someone cook hamburgers and hot dogs, order pizza, whatever you like!!  Make it yours!!
Regarding Team Mom Giveaways: I will send you a separate email to forward to your team regarding the Team Mom Giveaway baskets- I am trying to make it so you ladies do not have to ask your parents directly to nominate you or collect the nominations.  Therefore, you can forward my email that will have all of the instructions :)  I will announce the winners on closing day (later in the day)
The only entertainment will be the kids themselves running around and playing.  Last year some kids had balls and were running around playing with them and their friends.  There was not enough to really go around although they shared very well.  I recommend bringing some stuff for your kids to run around and play with!! (nothing that can hurt them though)
Recommendations:
Please no water balloons or water toys (we are hosting All-Stars and it damages the fields)
And also as a *gentle reminder* ~  *No ALCOHOL is ever allowed anywhere anytime at TABB*
Thank you and everyone have a wonderful end of the season and Closing Day!! Good luck with the Team Mom Contest!!

TABB 2013 BAT RULES

Wooden and metal bats manufactured for baseball play, which are round and not more than two and five eighths inches in diameter at the thickest part, not more than 42 inches in length, are acceptable.

All 2 5/8” composite barrel non-wood bats which are manufactured to achieve a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less throughout the life of the bat must be stamped with BPF 1.15 and the year manufactured, are acceptable. A composite bat will be determined ‘illegal’ if the bat does not have the BPF 1.15 stamp.

If at anytime during the season, PONY Baseball de-certifies any bat, that bat will immediately become ‘Illegal’.

Only 2 ¼” barrel non-wood bats which are manufactured to achieve a BPF of 1.15 or less throught the life of the bat are approved for play in PONY and TABB baseball divisions. Effective January 1, 2012, all newly manufactured non-wood bats must be stamped “approved for play in PONY Baseball” or ‘USSSA” and stamped with “BPF 1.15” and the year manufactured.

All 2 ¾” barrel bats are prohibited in all TABB league play and PONY Sanction League Organizations.

Bats manufactured specifically for use in tee ball play, shall not be used when the ball is pitched by a player, coach or pitching machine. Coach-pitch bats will only be used in coach pitch using a safety ball.

Penalties for using a non-conforming bat include ejection for the manager, owner and user of the bat. Penalties for using an altered bat may result in permanent expulsion from TABB.
