RVL Tournament Information - North Reading vs. Methuen

The NR Girls will play their first game on Saturday, March 10 at 1:45pm on Court #1 vs. Methuen at the Salemwood School located in Malden. If we win that game, we play at 4:15pm on Court #2 at Salemwood complex. The complete 6 A/B bracket can be found on the RVL website.
- Tuesday March 6, 6:00 to 7:30 at NRMS
The weekend game schedule is as followed:
- Saturday, March 3, 1:30 pm at NRHS vs. Wakefield
North Reading Defeats Tewksbury 35 - 23

The North Reading Girls 6A team defeated Tewksbury by a score of 35-23 on Sunday at the NRHS. The game started slow and remained scoreless for the first 5 minutes but the NR Girls came to life and outscored Tewksbury 21-8 over the rest of the half to take control. The NR girls extended their lead early in the second half and coasted to the win. This was the final RVL regular season game and the NR Girls ended the season with a 4-12 record.
North Reading beats Billerica 35 - 30

The North Reading Girls 6 team defeated Billerica on Saturday. The North Reading girls used their defense to build a 13 point first half lead. The scrappy team from Billerica made a second half run but the NR girls maintained their lead to pull away with a well deserved win.
