"Adopt a Field" Program

Posted by Daniel Gover at Mar 28, 2007 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

This season we will continue last year’s "Adopt a Field" program.  In this program each league will be adopting a field to help ensure that the field is in the best possible condition on opening day, throughout the season and into the playoffs.  It is our hope, that through the this program, the leagues can help with the minor maintenance that the fields require allowing our field maintenance staff to concentrate on the larger more significant repairs and maintenance items required.

The second "Adopt a Field" maintenance day is this coming Saturday April 7th from 8:30a - 11:30a.   The majority of the help required is; picking up rocks and stones from the fields, grooming the infields, replacing the bases, repairing fences, light raking of the outfields, filling in holes, cleaning dugouts and limited painting where required.   Please bring a rake if you have one.

Field Clean up  ("Adopt a Field" program)
Goff - Board of Directors / 5-year old skills clinic
        O'Day - Majors
        Pushee - A
        Miller - AA
        Kelley - AAA
        Giles - T-Ball
        Gus Wood - Instructional

On behalf on the Stoughton Little League Board of Directors; we looking forward to your participation Saturday, March 31st and for an enjoyable Little League season.
