Posted by Michael Polikoff on Jan 25 2011 at 04:00PM PST in Spring 2019

On Wednesday, January 19, 2011, Jesse Iacovetta, a 12 year old Forest Hills Little League player, was severely burned in a house fire.  Jesse is hospitalized at the Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan and is slowly making progress.  Jesse suffered severe injuries to his arms, face and neck and is expected to remain in the hospital for weeks.

We, the Forest Hills Little League, are heartbroken about this awful tragedy and as a result have established the “Jesse Iacovetta Fund” to accept donations to help with the medical costs that the family will incur.

We ask that you please consider making a donation today to assist the family.  Please make your check payable to “Jesse Iacovetta Fund”.  Cash is also accepted.

All donations are to be sent to:

Forest Hills Little League
Jesse Iacovetta Fund
66-01 Fleet Street
Forest Hills, NY  11375

Another way you can help is by purchasing a Team Jesse t-shirt.  T-shirts are being sold for $20 at all FHLL events or you may contact Jamie Haberstumpf at 917-379-2331.
