The Swift Current Innovation Credit Union U18 AAA Wildcats picked up an 4-3 double-overtime win over the Prince Albert Northern Bears on Saturday at S3 Arenas.

Sadie Keller opened the scoring with 5:39 left in the first period, with Jasmine Kohl tying the game up for Prince Albert midway through the second. Addison Eurich put the Wildcats back in the lead on the power play with 2:16 before Julia Cey tied it up with a power play marker of her own with 12 seconds left in the middle frame. The back-and-forth continued with Jacquelyne Chief scoring for PA 4:56 into the third period with Olivia Kirwan tying it back up again 42 seconds later. After five minutes of scoreless four-on-four overtime hockey, Jerzey Watteyne scored 24 seconds into the three-on-three period to give the Wildcats their fourth win in a row.

Caitlyn Perlinger added three assists for Swift Current and Calla Kampen had two helpers. Paige Fischer made 32 saves for the victory.

The Wildcats (14-5-2-0) are just a point back of the league-leading Regina Rebels as they get set to host the Bears again at 3:00pm Sunday afternoon at S3 Arenas.
