Jerzey Watteyne scored all five goals for the Swift Current Innovation Credit Union U18 AAA Wildcats as they beat the Edge School U18 Prep Team 5-3 on Sunday in Wilcox to finish the Mandi Schwartz Memorial Tournament with a 4-1 record.

Watteyne scored a natural hat trick with three straight goals in the second period to put the Wildcats up 3-0. Jordin Blouin, Elle Morenz and Jennifer Keller tied the game at 3-3 in the third period, but Watteyne scored two more goals to wrap up the scoring for the Wildcats. Sadie Keller and Amiyah Jones had two assists each and Addison Eurich and Cydny Price also had helpers. Karlee Lehner made 31 saves for the win in goal.

The Wildcats return to league action this weekend when they visit the Prince Albert Bears in their last two games before the Christmas break.

In other tournament action, the Balmoral Hall Blazers beat the Calgary Fire 7-2 in the championship game, while the Regina Rebels edged the Westman Wildcats 2-1 in the third-place game.
