Hello Families-

Attached you will find the Palos Stars Football & Cheerleading 2022 Fall Registration Form (Page 1 & Page 2).

A few things that we are asking parent(s) to do with this year’s Registration. We ask that you either mail or email a signed Registration Form per child. (Please refer to the “PAYMENTS” section below)
• Please make sure to indicate if you are registering for a football or cheer participant.
• Please make sure to indicate the grade & the age that your child will be going to be in the Fall of 2022.

FOOTBALL ONLY
• Please indicate your child’s weight & age as of September 1, 2022. This helps with placing your child on the correct team. (See attached age & weight table)
• Players will need to purchase a girdle (girdle can be purchased at Don’s World of Sports-10741 S. Roberts Rd, Palos Hills) & molded spikes (screw on spikes are NOT ALLOWED).

FEES
The Registration Fee is $200 if you register before June 30, 2022. BEGINNING July 1, 2022, the Registration Fee is $225. Try to register early!! There is a Deposit Fee of $100 per child & it is NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.

FUNDRAISER
We will be doing raffle tickets. Each child is responsible to sell 12 raffle tickets at $10 each (this is per child). This will be required to be paid upfront as part of the balance of the registration process. Each family will keep all monies received from the sold tickets.

WORK COMMITMENT
As of now we are leaving this as part of the registration process until we get closer to the season. We are not sure what the guidelines may be until we get a bit closer. Each family is required to fulfill 6 hours throughout the season and will get their $100 back at the end of the season.

CHEERLEADERS ONLY
There is an extra fee for Cheer per child. Cheerleaders will purchase a pair of shoes through us & a cheer bow. This is approximately $30-$40 per cheerleader. Other cheer accessories: such as a cheer bag is extra costs, but not mandatory.

CHEER UNIFORMS
Cheerleaders will be measured for their cheer uniforms and uniforms will be given out before the first football game of the season (approximately 3rd week of practice).

TEAMSNAP
We use TeamSnap to communicate during the season. Once your child is placed on a team, you will get an invite to join. This will be sent within the first week or so of practice. On this App you will have all scheduled games and the times, along with any upcoming events & practices.

JULY CONDITIONING CAMPFOOTBALL PLAYERS ONLY
We currently will be having a July Conditioning Camp (there is NO COST). Camp days are on Tuesday & Thursdays from 6PM – 8PM at our “HOME” field located on 114th & SW Highway. This camp is for kids who are signed up or plan on signing up in the fall. The first day of camp will be on Tuesday, July 6th.

FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT PICK-UP
Equipment will be scheduled the last week of July. Parents and player(s) MUST be present. ALL balance of fees will be due at this time. More information will come when we get closer.

PRACTICES
FOOTBALL – Practices will begin on Monday, August 1st.
CHEERLEADERS – Practices will begin on Wednesday, August 3rd.

Practices are Mondays – Fridays (coach’s discretion) from 6PM-8PM through at least the third week of August. (This will depend on when the kids go back to school). Practices then go down to 3 days a week, which will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 6PM – 8PM.
