Atryout process chooses players for Select teams and they play an indoor andoutdoor schedule against select teams from other communities. U8 & U10 is developmental and all players will be placed on a team. Older age group candidates who try-out may not all be selected.

Whatis Storm Select Soccer?

Comparedto Fall Recreational Soccer, Select Soccer is a much more significantcommitment to the game.  During the first and second session of indoorsoccer, most teams will practice indoor once per week and play one game eachweek. During spring outdoor soccer, practice will be one to two sessions each weekwith a game on the weekend.  Before deciding to try-out for select soccer,a player and his or her parents must be willing to make a commitment to attendpractice and games.

Whatis the Duration of the Select Soccer Season?

Duringthe late fall and winter, the majority of Select Teams play indoor soccer. Indoor soccer begins for most teams around the end of Oct or early Nov.This will be the training for our Spring Select outdoor soccer that starts inearly April and ends in late June.

Howmuch travel is involved?

Duringthe indoor season, players are asked to travel to the indoor site to play theirgames. Some teams play in Warwick, North Smithfield, Somerset and Uxbridge. Inspring, a team usually plays four home games and four away games. All springgames are in state.  Tournaments involve additional travel.

Whatis the Cost?

Thecost for the 3 sessions will be approximately $300 payable in one payment ormulti payments.  There are alsoadditional costs for uniforms, tournaments, etc…. Once accepted you willreceive a letter with the information and opportunity to fundraise.  Credit card payments are accepted.

Fall Recreation 2014 Program 

We have  teams for Boys and Girls ages 3-14. Must be 3 by August 1st 2014.

This season begins August and runs until October   

Coaches will contact players as soon has rosters are finalizied.

If you have not been contacted by a coach you can log in to your child's registration account for the team information. 

ALL  games are played on Saturdays @ the Mckinnon-Alves Soccer Complex located @

The League will provide FULL Uniform for each player!!!
Jersey, Shorts and Socks!!!!

Registration fee is $75 discount applied on 3rd child, 4th child etc....  Late fee now applied 

Mandatory Equipment - Shin Guards

Sneakers are OK!!! Cleats are optional but only Soccer Cleats are allowed.  

 U4 (Under 4) & U6 (Under 6) age groups - PYSA has hired Challenger Camp Trainers to work with Parent/ Volunteer Coaches and players on age appriopriate skills. Ball movement & socialization are the focus in this age group. Size #3 ball needed. 

U8 (Under 8) - U15 (Under 15) age groups- Parent/ Volunteer Coaches work with the children with practices and games. Practice will be at least once a week. Games on Saturdays.

Game Times- Vary depending on age group and field availability.  Coaches will provide the schedule.
