Millburn Pool Summer Swim Team

Hello Parents!

I want to thank all the families that came out this morning, despite the time and the temperature. You and your swimmers made an excellent effort and were great.

On the other hand, there is a small group of families that still have not handed in an attendance sheet. It is becoming increasingly difficult to pick and choose who will or will not be at the meets. The Meet Sheets must be made well in advance of the meet, and thus we need to know whether or not a child will be there. If we are not sure, we will leave them out because of the precious few spots we have in the events.

We would like to have the remaining attendance sheets by tomorrow morning at practice. I will attach to this email the Attendance form.

The following families still need to turn in an attendance sheet:

We have an AWAY meet tomorrow night in Berkeley Heights! Warm up will begin at 5pm. The meet will start at 6pm! Please give yourself enough time for the drive over!

A spirited Millburn team was outgunned by Maplewood this morning, with Maplewood handing Millburn their first loss of the year. The opportunity to get back on track comes up tomorrow, as Millburn travels to Berkeley Heights.

Don't forget that the 7/3 Berkeley Heights meet is the annual Food Drive meet. Please see Barbara ElShaer's note below and remember to bring some food.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  We have a meet tomorrow MORNING in Maplewood.  Warm up will start at 8am SHARP!  Please get to the pool between 7:30am-7:45am so everyone has time to check in before they jump in the pool for warm up! The swim meet will begin at 8:30am. I put the directions on this email, and you can also find them on our websites.  Please make sure to give yourself enough time for the drive over to the pool.  I will have a sign in sheet ready at the meet for your children to check off that they are there! If your plans have changed and you cannot make the meet, please email me ASAP.

We have a meet Tuesday night at Berkeley Heights.  I will send out the information about that meet tomorrow. Please let me know ASAP if you cannon make that meet!
