Was the Chiefs ace in 2007 and 2008 and will make comeback attempt this season after missing all of the 2009 campaign.... Had a 9-2 record with an ERA of 1.66 in 2007 & 2008 with 180 K's in just 114 innings while leading the ICL....Set Chiefs single season strikeout record in 2008 recording 101 K's....Pitched the Chiefs first no-hitter since 1995 against Wakefield on June 13, 2007 ...Named to the ICL all-star team in both 2007 & 2008... Signed with the Sussex Skyhawks of the Can-Am League at the conclusion of the 2007 campaign where he made two starts...Pitched for five seasons in the San Diego Padres system and led all of minor league baseball in 2000 with 74 appearances for the Single A Rancho Cucamonga Padres.... Also pitched for the Double AA Mobile Bay Bears.. The Troy State University product was a 1998 draftee of the Padres after going 9-2 with a 3.28 ERA.... Began his pro career with Idaho Falls of the Pioneer League in 1998.... Finished his rookie year with an overall 2-3 mark with an ERA of 2.35 in nine appearances and 38.2 innings of work....Big 6' 2, 205 righty from Everett, MA, via Malden Catholic....Made first collegiate appearance for UMass-Amherst, starting against Connecticut on April 8, 2009....A three year pitcher at Malden Catholic and a member of Steve Freker's Catholic Conference Championship team his senior year ... Named to the Catholic Conference All-Star team as a senior ... Also played football and basketball in high school ...
