Was the mainstay of Chiefs staff last year going 6-4 in 62.1 innings of work with an outstanding ERA of 2.13... Led pitching staff in wins, appearances and innings pitched...Two time ICL all-star (2006 & 2009)......Shutout Lexington in Game One of the 2009 ICL Championship Series in a complete game 6-0 win... Completed his four year career at UMass-Amherst in 2009....Appeared in over 50 games for the Minutemen and threw over 180 innings...Took a no-hitter into the ninth inning while earning the win in the Beanpot Championship against Boston College at Fenway Park in 2009....Recorded win by pitching 6 2/3 scoreless innings, only allowing three hits, against Harvard in the first round of the Beanpot Tournament in 2008...Four year varsity letter winner and two time captain for Steve Freker at Malden Catholic.. Left Malden Catholic with a .509 career batting average and 57 RBI at the plate and a 8-4 record on the hill with a 1.49 ERA and 227 strikeouts leading the Lancers to a D-1 state title in 2003 ... Former Catholic Conference MVP ... Earned All-Scholastic selections by the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald ... Also named an Honorable Mention All-American by ACBA ... Returns to the Chiefs active roster after being on the disabled list for the entire 2009 campaign with a knee injury....Appeared in just 14 games with four RBI's for the Chiefs in 2008 before the same injury cut his season short.......Was four year starting catcher and standout at Division 2 power Franklin Pierce, appearing in the NCAA D-2 College World Series three times and graduating in 2008... ...Has been affiliated with the Chiefs organization for many years in several capacities....Was an All Northeast-10 Conference second team selection in 2008 when he served as the Ravens team captain....... Batted .316 as a senior, good for 20th in the Northeast, driving in 31 runs and scored 33......In 2007, was a Northeast-10 first team selection starting 57 games for the Ravens hitting .329 with eight home runs and 49 RBI......Was a former Medford High star where he graduated from in 2004...Is also considered an outstanding defensive first baseman....

Chiefs team captain is considered one the best power hitters in ICL history......Returns to the Chiefs for his 15th season in 2010 at age 34......Appeared in 33 games as DH last year with 14 RBI......Had a banner 2008 season hitting a whopping .414 overall with 23 RBI's.....Is atop many of the Chiefs career batting records, including leading the franchise in career home runs with 86... .Has been part of many Chiefs championships and pennants.....Begins the 2010 season with 380 RBI's and 492 hits in his illustrious Chiefs career...13 time Intercity League all-star has a .351 career batting average in 1,417 plate appearances.......Led the ICL in homers for seven consecutive seasons from 1995-2001 and hit a career best 13 home runs three times (1997, 1999 & 2000)....Was drafted in the 17th round by the Boston Red Sox in the 1994 major league draft as a high school senior, eventually signing with the Cleveland Indians in 1997...Started 2001 ICL all-star game in left field at Fenway Park for manager Chuck Andre ....Played in JUCO World Series with Arizona Western and NCAA Division 2 College World Series with Central Missouri State....

Was the Chiefs ace in 2007 and 2008 and will make comeback attempt this season after missing all of the 2009 campaign.... Had a 9-2 record with an ERA of 1.66 in 2007 & 2008 with 180 K's in just 114 innings while leading the ICL....Set Chiefs single season strikeout record in 2008 recording 101 K's....Pitched the Chiefs first no-hitter since 1995 against Wakefield on June 13, 2007 ...Named to the ICL all-star team in both 2007 & 2008... Signed with the Sussex Skyhawks of the Can-Am League at the conclusion of the 2007 campaign where he made two starts...Pitched for five seasons in the San Diego Padres system and led all of minor league baseball in 2000 with 74 appearances for the Single A Rancho Cucamonga Padres.... Also pitched for the Double AA Mobile Bay Bears.. The Troy State University product was a 1998 draftee of the Padres after going 9-2 with a 3.28 ERA.... Began his pro career with Idaho Falls of the Pioneer League in 1998.... Originally from Malden MA, now resides in Newton, MA, with his wife Misssy and two children.....Keith is considered one of the leading baseball instructors in the New England area....Son of the late Rodney Forbes, an outstanding local athlete in the mid 1960's who was inducted into the UMass-Boston Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006...

Will begin his second season as part of the Chiefs pitching staff....Was the hottest pitcher in the ICL in late July and early August of last summer surrendering just 11 hits and four earned runs in his last 24.2 innings of work....Was one out away from a no-hitter against Lexington on August 9th.... Finished his rookie year with an overall 2-3 mark with an ERA of 2.35 in nine appearances and 38.2 innings of work....Big 6' 2, 205 righty from Everett, MA, via Malden Catholic....Made first collegiate appearance for UMass-Amherst, starting against Connecticut on April 8, 2009....A three year pitcher at Malden Catholic and a member of Steve Freker's Catholic Conference Championship team his senior year ... Named to the Catholic Conference All-Star team as a senior ... Also played football and basketball in high school ... Was named to the Catholic Conference All-Star team for basketball as a junior....
