Cormier & Richard Lead Chiefs to 4-2 Win in Reading

Reading, MA- Blaise Cormier went 4 for 4, with three RBI’s, Andrew Caulfield added two doubles, and Gino DeSimone had two hits and an RBI, when the Chiefs beat the Reading Bulldogs 4-2 at Austin Prep on Tuesday night.
Former Suffolk University lefty Jonathan Richard (1-0) allowed just three hits and struck out eight in six innings to get the win while Tommy Leone picked up his second save of the year in the seventh.
Andrew Croteau had two hits, an RBI, and stole three bases for the Bulldogs. Connor Hewlette (0-2) took the loss.The Chiefs are back in action tonight (Wednesday) when they visit the Melrose Americans at Morelli Field at 7:30 PM.
