Hi Force Parents, Here is the final schedule change for this weekend, we tried to make these changes so that it will help everyones schedule being the first weekend after the holiday. NO PRACTICE TOMORROW FRIDAY AT MARINERS 1/5/07 SEYO Pictures Saturday 1/6/07 at Valencia HS from 10:20 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Everyone must be at the gym no later than 10:10 a.m. to fill out paperwork. Practice on Saturday 1/6/07 will now be at Mariners from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. WE WILL NOT BE PRACTICING AT FULLERTON HS FROM 2:00-3:30 P.M. Thanks, Mark

Happy New Year Everyone, We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We are going to be making a few changes for this weekends schedule. First, we will be cancelling the practice for this Friday 1/5/07 at Mariners. Due to our team pictures on Saturday and the times we were given it was too hard to schedule everything in for this weekend. Our team pictures will be taken this Saturday 1/6/07 at Valencia HS from 10:20-10:40 a.m., We would like all players to be in their red uniforms no later than 10:10 a.m., please meet inside by the small gym. We will try to get package information and prices before this weekend. Second, our current VFW practice time is on Saturday 1/6/07 at Fullerton HS from 2:00-3:30 p.m. inside the large gym. We are trying to change this time so that it will be closer to the time we take pictures but there is no guarantee. Please check this site out for changes to the Saturday practice schedule. Third. our game this Sunday 1/7/07 is against OCBC, please try to arrive at the gym no later than 11:30 a.m. so we can go over our strategy and to warm up. We hope everyone had time to recover from the Christmas Holiday this week. We know that you just want your boys to get out of the house and get back to practicing basketball again, right? Well, don't forget that we will have practice tonight Friday 12/29 at Mariners from 6:30-8:30 p.m. we will try to bring back the memory chips in their heads after the long break. We have no practice on Saturday 12/30 but will have one next Friday at Mariners 1/5/07 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., we also will have a practice on Saturday 1/6/07 but we haven't been notified by VFW for that one. In the spirit of the holiday's we are going to be cancelling practice for tomorrow night (Friday 12/22/06) Most of our moms are running behind in preparation for the holiday's and us dads are assigned to decorate the house, clean the house or just plain watch the kids. We will meet for practice next Friday 12/29/06 at Mariners from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas !!!! Mark

It was a tough loss for us yesterday, we look at this as an opportunity and not as a set back. The last time we played like this was the first game in the Dodgers Tournament in Las Vegas, we lost to the Victory in that game. We then came back to almost beat the Warriors and then beat the stacked Mustangs team, we proceeded to then win both the Bruins and VFW Tournaments. With the boys only being 9 years old there is a lot of pressure and situations that we have them going through. In the end though it is desire and determination that will win games with experience and fundamentals. We played an OCO team that played only 6 players out of 8, we shot from the regulation 15 foot free throw line as we need to for tournaments and we made some critical coaching errors late in the game that could have pulled it out. We will talk to the boys this Friday about what we can learn from this game and move on to the next game preparation.
