12U 2006

The team traveled to Noblesville, Indiana for the final tournament of the 2006 season. Tournaments in this area typically draw very good and competitive teams and this year was no different. The 12U's ended up a #5 seed for the elimination rounds. They defeated the host team, the Noblesville Heat in the first elimination game 7-2. They then faced the Warren County Angles. This game turned out to be a pitching dual with the Spikes scoring two runs in the first inning and that would be it for the rest of the game as it ended 2-0 in favor of the Spikes. This placed the boys against the Hamilton Southeastern Blue for the championship on Sunday. The Spikes lost 3-0 in a very tough game.
