Marist 4x800m Relay drops 30.69 seconds to finish in SECOND place at the Spartan Indoor Classic!
In the Varsity 4x800m Relay, Marist Freshman Jonathan Rivera ran a personal best 800m split of 2:20.09 on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Alexis Arreola. Marist Junior Alexis Arreola ran an impressive 800m split of 2:25.53, and made a good exchange to Caleb Davis. Marist Sophomore Caleb Davis ran an outstanding 800m split of 2:19.32, and made a nice exchange to Lucas Pennix. Marist Junior Lucas Pennix anchored the RedHawks to SECOND place with an outstanding 800m split of 2:18.59 for an official time of 9:23.51.
Glenbrook North won the 4x800m Relay. The Marist RedHawks finished in second place, and dropped 30.69 seconds (9:54.20) off their best 4x800m Relay time this season, with an official time of 9:23.51.
Marist Senior Martin Smith WINS 55m High Hurdles! Marist Junior Tom Johnson finishes in THIRD place in the 55m High Hurdles!
In the Varsity 55m High Hurdles, Marist Senior Martin Smith won the 55m High Hurdles with an outstanding time of 8.70. Marist Junior Tom Johnson finished in THIRD place with an outstanding time of 9.72.
In the Sophomore 55m High Hurdles, Marist Freshman Nathan Tamez dropped 0.87 of a second (12.49) for a PERSONAL BEST time of 11.62.

Marist Sophomore Brian Ferguson ran an outstanding time of 6.55. Marist Sophomore Antione Davis ran an outstanding time of 6.55. Marist Sophomore Keyon Turner exploded out of the blocks for an outstanding time of 6.59. Marist Sophomore Tyler Thomas ran an outstanding time of 6.59. Marist Sophomore Amari Watkins ran an impressive time of 6.60. Marist Freshman Nicholas Coccaro ran a personal best time of 6.65. Marist Sophomore Kivonte Houston ran an official time of 6.71. Marist Junior Cameron Rivers ran a personal best time of 6.72. Marist Senior Ben Ehigie ran an official time of 6.73. Marist Senior Alton Brooks ran an official time of 6.75.

In the Sophomore 800m, Marist Freshman Kevin Bugos ran a personal best time of 2:32.60. Marist Sophomore Luke Hortsman ran an outstanding time of 2:33.60.
Amari Watkins, Tyler Thomas, Antoine Davis, and Kivonte Houston compete in the 4x160m Relay at the Spartan Indoor Classic
In the Varsity 4x160m Relay, Marist athletes arrived late to check-in, and the order of the relay was changed prior to the race. Marist Sophomore Amari Watkins exploded out of the blocks and ran an impressive 19.90 160m split on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Tyler Thomas. Marist Sophomore Tyler Thomas ran an outstanding 20.79 160m split on the second leg of the relay, and made a good exchange to Antoine Davis. Marist Sophomore Antoine Davis ran a 21.03 160m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a good exchange to Kivonte Houston. Marist Sophomore Kivonte Houston ran an impressive 20.83 160m split to anchor the RedHawks to THIRD place with an official time of 1:22.96.
In the Sophomore 4x160m Relay, Marist was scratched due to illness of Nicholas Coccaro and Carter Auer.
