Jovan Marsh, Keyon Turner, Antoine Davis, and Kivonte Houston finish in 4th place in the 4x200m Relay at Rockford Auburn High School

 Marist Sophomore Jovan Marsh ran an impressive 22.96 200m split, and made a nice exhcange to Keyon Turner. Marist Junior Keyon Turner ran an outstanding 24.67 200m split, and made a good exchange to Antoine Davis. Marist Junior Antoine Davis ran an outstanding 24.72 200m split, and made a nice exchange to Kivonte Houston. Marist Junior Kivonte Houston anchored the RedHawks to second place in their heat, and fourth overall out of 20 high schools with a 25.40 200m split for an official time of 1:38.33. The RedHawks dropped 6.04 seconds (1:44.37) in the 4x200m Relay from the 2018 Jerry Lowe Invitational. imageimageimage

Keyon Turner, Caleb Davis, Alexis Arreola and Thomas Leonard finish ninth in the 4x400m Relay at Rockford Auburn High School

 In the 4x400m Relay, Marist Junior Keyon Turner ran an impressive 57.56 400m split on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Caleb Davis. Marist Junior Caleb Davis ran an outstanding 58.08 400m split on the second leg of the relay, and made a good exchange to Alexis Arreola. Marist Senior Alexis Arreola ran a great 59.81 400m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a perfect exchange to Thomas Leonard. Marist Junior Thomas Leonard anchored the RedHawks to 9th place out of 20 high schools with an outstanding 58.94 400m split for an official time of 3:54.99. imageimageimage

Marist Sophomore Jovan Marsh finishes SECOND in the 60m Dash at the Jerry Lowe Invitational!

 Marist Sophomore Jovan Marsh finished in SECOND place overall in the 60m Dash at the Rockford Auburn High School Jerry Lowe Invitational with a personal best time of 7.19. Jovan Marsh was awarded a silver MEDAL for finishing in second place overall in the 60m Dash. The 60m Dash featured 60 athletes from 20 high schools at the Rockford Auburn High School Jerry Lowe Invitational. imageimageimage

Marist Freshman Tucker Miller and Junior Antoine Davis provide the RedHawks with depth for 4x100m for STATE!

 In 2018, the Marist RedHawks 4x100m Relay qualified for the IHSA State Track and Field Championships. For the first meet of the 2019 Track and Field season, the RedHawks featured Sophomore Jovan Marsh, Junior Keyon Turner, and Junior Antoine Davis from the 2018 IHSA State qualifying 4x100m relay. The depth of the RedHawks State qualifying relay became stronger at Rockford last Saturday.

 Marist Freshman Tucker Miller ran a 10.90 100m dash in eighth grade.In his first high school race, Tucker Miller ran the second fastest 60m Dash time on the RedHawks Varsity with a personal best time of 7.49.

 Marist Junior Antoine Davis also had an outstanding performance at Rockford with a 60m dash personal best time of 7.55.

 Jovan Marsh, Tucker Miller, and Antoine Davis all had GREAT performances in the 60m dash. The best is yet to come.

 The Marist RedHawks 4x100m and 4x200m Relays will be special in 2019.

Marist Junior Brian Ferguson Invitational CHAMPION in the 400m dash at Rockford!

 The Rockford Auburn Jerry Lowe Invitational featured 60 athletes from 20 high schools in the 400m dash. Marist Junior Brian Ferguson ran a pure guts race to WIN the 400m Dash. Brian Ferguson exploded out of the blocks, and was the first runner to reach the break line. Marist Captain Brian Ferguson ran through the first 200m in 23 seconds, and finished with a season best time of 52.97 to WIN the 400m dash!

 In his first Track and Field meet of the season, Brian Ferguson came within 0.75 of a second of his career best INDOOR 400m Dash time (52.22, 2018 Illinois Prep Top Times). Brian Ferguson was awarded a gold MEDAL for winning the 400m Dash at the Jerry Lowe Invitational.
