On Saturday, February 9, 2019, the Marist Sophomore and Freshman Boys traveled to Willie May Fieldhouse at Evanston High School. The fieldhouse was dedicated in 2018 to 1960 Olympic Silver Medalist and former Evanston Head Coach Willie May. The late Wille May coached Track and Field at Evanston for 45 years, and he won five IHSA State trophies, including the State Championship in 1979. Marist Head Coach Jon Gordon had known Willie May since he competed in high school Track, and raced in the same conference with among others, State Champion and future Evanston Olympian Robert Gary (1990). In 2018, Hall of Fame Evanston Head Coach Don Michelin invited Gordon and the Marist RedHawks to the Evanston Indoor Classic. In 2019, the RedHawks returned to Evanston for the second consecutive year.

The meet was an outstanding experience for New Trier, Schaumburg, Marist, Waukegan, and host Evanston Township High School.

Individual events and relays were scored on the following point scale: 10-8-6-4-2-1.

Congratulations to Evanston Head Coach Don Michelin and the Wildkits on winning the meet.
